2004 Clairault Estate Chardonnay

Bright deep straw, pale gold colour with straw hue. Top note of honeycomb followed by biscuit and cashew, showing strong barrel ferment character. On the palate flavours of toasted oak, biscuit, cashew and yeast lees. The acidity is beginning to fall away, with the palate becoming a little broad. Aftertaste of toast, biscuit and yeast lees.
