2004 Cape Mentelle Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour with straw hue showing some oxidative character. Aroma of yeast lees, hazelnut and cashew emerge followed by a biscuit end note. The palate has a creamy texture with flavours of grapefruit and cashew evident, followed by a spicy back palate. Crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees, lemon and grapefruit.
