The hard facts are that exporting wine is a very costly affair and can only be justified as a long term investment, as the payback times can be quite prolonged. Attending trade shows, sending samples, visiting potential agents, entertaining agents, printing brochures and complying with the multiplicity of regulations by the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation as well as those of the importing country can be a financially ruinous affair.
Some small producers take a different position, disregarding the financial side of the balance sheet, and treating export markets as tax deductible trips to enhance a chosen lifestyle.

An impressive, full bodied Cabernet. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of plum and stewed fruit followed by end notes of spice and liquorice. The palate has good weight and depth of flavour. Fine grained soft tannins, perfect balance. Flavours of spice, blackcurrant and cassis emerge with a liquorice allsorts back palate.
