Other reviews....

Brokenwood’s flagship wine, the 2004 Shiraz Graveyard Vineyard is monolithic, backward, and tightly knit. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by hints of red fruits, mint and herbal underpinnings, and a notion of sweet oak. It will benefit from 5-6 years of cellaring, and should keep for at least a decade.

Of brilliant clarity, this medium-bodied wine has perfect texture and structure to its array of black and red cherry fruits, finishing with fine ripe tannins. Carefully judged oak completes a wine of real finesse - and low alcohol.
