Semi-translucent crimson colour with crimson mauve hue showing good colour extraction. Lifted nose of ripe cherry, ripe strawberry with just a hint of strawberry jam. The palate flavours are light with stewed cherry and spice being evident. The tannins are a touch too firm. Aftertaste of stewed cherry and spice.
