The best Battle of Bosworth to date.

The Bosworths are an old McLaren Vale family who have been growing grapes in the district since the 1840’s. The present vineyard is located at Willunga, just south of McLaren Vale and was established in 1970 by Peter and Anthea Bosworth. Almost opaque black crimson purple colour with purple hue. Perfumed nose with aroma of spice and violets followed by nuances of liquorice and vanilla. The palate delivers classic McLaren Vale ‘joosy’ characteristics with flavours of cherry, liquorice
allsorts and blackberry. Excellent weight, perfectly balanced tannins with very spicy back palate. Long aftertaste of plum, cherry and blackberry.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
