2004 Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with pale gold film. The nose reveals barrel ferment character with yeast lees, hazelnut and cashew. The palate is on the light side and does not deliver the depth of flavour of previous vintages. Yeast lees, cashew and citrus flavours emerge on the palate. Creamy palate texture. Restrained length. Clean acid finish.
