2004 Baileys of Glenrowan Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose is quite opulent with violet top notes followed by blackberry and liquorice allsorts. The palate is not as voluptuous as expected – a fruit bomb is anticipated but what is delivered is a restrained structure with flavours of ripe plum, spice and cedar. Fine dry tannins which persist.
