An outstanding Pinot Noir, with that very rare quality of counterpoint. The great examples of Pinot Noir carefully counterpoint the aroma of game and fruit. It is a quality that is highly sought after but rarely found.
Medium body. Crimson colour with crimson hue. Lifted nose with superb counterpoints of toasted oak, game, earth, ripe strawberry and spice. The palate is mouthfilling and is supported by velvet smooth tannins – Again the counterpoint is evident. Cherry, spice and strawberry fruit flavours are overlaid with game. Excellent varietal character and aftertaste.

Other Reviews...
A totally delicious array of cherry, strawberry and plum fruit aromas and flavours; silky and long; classic peacock's tail style; fine tannins.  Minor brett issues.
