2003 Voyager Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Very pale waterlike colour. Fresh aromatic nose with top note of unripe gooseberry followed by grassy vegetal and tropical fruit end notes. The palate profile takes a twist and the flavour spectrum turns to ripe gooseberries over tropical fruit however it remains overlaid by a grassy, herbaceous back palate which continues to dominate. Very long length, crisp acid finish with very long grassy herbaceous aftertaste.
