2003 Tzora Vineyards Ilan Special Selection (Kosher)

The Tzora Vineyard was established in 1993 with the premise that wine is made in the vineyard, epitomizing the tenets of terroir.  The Ilan Vineyard is situated on terra rossa soil (the same soil type found in Coonawarra), 700 metres above sea level on the western slopes of the Judean Hills.

A wine that is produced for Kosher Passover.  Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue.  Aroma of cedar, cigar box, cassis and spice.  The palate delivers flavours of cedar, cigar box and stewed fruit flavours followed by a hint of chocolate.  Fine, dry tannins which are persistent.  Cedar, cigar box aftertaste.
