2003 TK Tim Knappstein Baroota Shiraz

The Shiraz for this wine is sourced from two areas – 92% comes from the Woodside Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills whilst 8% comes from the Baroota Vineyard in the Southern Flinders Ranges. Very deep brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of spice and plum followed by stewed fruit and leather. The palate reveals flavours of leather, earth, plum and stewed fruit with back palate flavours of black pepper and vanilla. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of leather, spice and earth.
