2003 Thorn Clarke Sandpiper Shiraz

This is a refined Shiraz made by seasoned winemaker, Jim Irvine. Opaque black crimson colour with deep purple hue. Perfumed nose, with aroma of violets, liquorice allsorts, vanilla and blackberry. The wine has good weight with flavours of spice and blackberry, followed by stewed fruit. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of spice, stewed fruit and blackberry.
