2003 Sorrenberg Chardonnay

Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. The nose is quite delicate, with aroma of honey, yeast lees and toasted oak, followed by a hint of white peach and just a hint of melon. The palate is generous with subtle flavours of hazelnut and almonds over a background of yeast lees and biscuit. Spicy back palate, with aftertaste of almonds, hazelnut, yeast lees and honey emerging.
