2003 Redbank Sally's Paddock Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot Cabernet Franc

Opaque plum, crimson, ruby colour with deep plum, ruby red hue. The nose has an impressive lift, with notes of blackcurrant, spice, cedar and mulberry emerging, followed by a hint of leather as an end note. The tannins are very fine, dry and chalky and override the fruit. Stewed fruit and plum flavours reappear over a cedar back palate. Dry, chalky tannins persist.
