2003 Plunkett Blackwood Ridge Pinot Noir

A full bodied Pinot with plenty of ripe varietal flavours. Deep crimson mauve colour with mauve hue – quite outstanding for Pinot! Strong varietal nose. Aroma of spice, strawberry and very ripe plums. There is plenty of palate flavour and an abundance of ripe fruit. Flavours of very ripe plums and strawberry are enhanced with spicy oak. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Long aftertaste of plum, spice and strawberry.
