This wine should be an absolute cracker, however it misses the opportunity to deliver greatness. Produced from fruit grown in four of Barossa Valley’s top sub-districts – Marananga, Ebenezer, Light Pass and Tanunda.

Medium body, crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Perfumed nose, with delicate top note of plum, prune and cedar over a new leather end note, showing some bottle development. On the palate the ripe fruit flavours are beginning to fade, with flavours of stewed plum and spice emerging over a background of dry chalky tannins. The wine lacks the length and complexity of past vintages.
Cellar 2-3 years (2010-2011)
Alc/Vol: 14.5%
