2003 Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Lifted nose of cedar, plum and spice followed by a hint of blackcurrant and violets. The Cabernet flavour profile is evident on the palate with blackcurrant, liquorice and spice being evident. Fine dry tannins, quite chalky. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, plum and spice with dry tannins persisting.
