2003 Penbro Estate Merlot

Bright crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Delicately perfumed nose with aromas of mulberry and truffle followed by a spicy end note. The palate flavour profile is quite light, with mulberry and stewed fruit to the fore followed by slightly chalky tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste with dry chalky tannins persisting.
