2003 Nugan Franc's Lane Vineyard Chardonnay

This wine has been fermented in new French oak barriques. Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Aroma of yeast lees, cashew, toasted oak and hazelnut. Creamy palate, with flavours of cashew and nougat, followed by background notes of fig and ripe cantaloupe. Good palate weight with soft acid finish. Aftertaste of nougat, melon and fig.
