This is the sixty-eighth release of Moet & Chandon Vintage Champagne since the launch of the first vintage in 1842. It is only produced in exceptional vintages. This years release has a higher than normal Pinot Meunier component with the final blend composed of 43% Pinot Meunier, 29% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay. The 2003 vintage has been released ahead of the 2002 vintage because it was felt that the 2002 needed more time in the bottle to develop.

Good white creamy mousse with exceptionally fine bead and persistence. Pale straw colour base wine. Aromas of yeast lees, toast, biscuit and baked bread – classic Champagne aromas. The palate is lighter than expected with delicate flavours of biscuit, lemon, cashew, yeast lees and toast. Refined with good palate length but not exceptional. Creamy texture with aftertaste of baked bread, biscuit, citrus and hazelnut.
