2003 McGuigan Earth's Portrait Shiraz

Very deep crimson mauve colour with mauve purple hue. The nose is appealing, with notes of spice, plum, blackberry and vanilla emerging followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate has good weight, with flavours of plum, vanilla and stewed fruit emerging, followed by hint of liquorice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit.
