This is the pick of the current Leconfield releases. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice and liquorice, followed by a blackberry and violet endnote. The palate reveals flavours of liquorice, blackberry and spice with back palate flavours of stewed plum. Fine dry tannins, excellent balance. Moderate length. Aftertaste of liquorice allsorts.
