2003 Katnook Estate Founders Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Brick red colour with brick red hue. Medium body. The nose reveals distinct, developed Cabernet fruit with aromas of stewed fruit, cedar and cigar box. On the palate flavours of cigar box, cedar and blackcurrant are followed by earth, truffle back palate flavour over a layer of spice. Fine grained tannin. Aftertaste of cedar, cigar box and plum with dry tannins persisting.
