2003 Jeanneret Merlot

Very deep brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of tea leaf, followed by cedar and spice. On the palate, flavours of cedar and old leather are followed by plum and stewed fruit. Fine dry, chalky tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit, with very dry tannins persisting.
Cellar 1-2 years (2006-2007)
