2003 Innocent Bystander Shiraz Viognier

A generous example of the blend. Very deep crimson colour with mauve crimson hue. Lifted nose of liquorice and spice followed by a blackberry end note. The palate is full bodied, with good weight. Flavours of liquorice, liquorice allsorts, ink and cherry. Soft tannins, followed by a very spicy aftertaste.
