Heartland wines is the creation of a group of leading South Australian wine industry identities including viticulturist Geoff Hardy and wine maker Ben Glaetzer. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of violets, vanilla, cedar, plum and spice. On the palate some flavours of mocha and chocolate emerge followed by plum and spice on the back palate. Very good length and persistence. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of mocha, blackberry, black pepper and spice.
