2003 Felton Road Pinot Noir

Matured for 11 months in French oak barrels. Mid cherry red colour. Aromas of violets, black cherry and exotic spice define the bouquet. The aromas on the nose are complimented by the deep and concentrated ripe fruit flavours on the palate. The ideal growing conditions of the 2003 vintage, low to moderate yields and small berry size resulted in chewy, yet silky tannins. Good depth and length will allow the wine to age gracefully for up to 5-7 years. Soft tannins contribute to a long silky finish allowing the wine to also be enjoyed in its youth.
