A very well made Shiraz but lacks the voluptuous quality of previous vintages. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of spice, plum and liquorice allsorts. The palate is relatively tight when compared to previous vintages. Flavours of stewed fruit and spice. Fine grained tannins – stewed fruit and spice aftertaste.

Other Reviews...
The 2003 Shiraz Barossa boasts a dense purple color, aromas of creme de cassis, asphalt, smoke, and earth, well-integrated, sweet, toasty oak, and a big, full-bodied, concentrated personality. Great fruit, huge body, sweet tannin, and a long finish suggest it should hit its peak in 2-4 years, and last for 12-15.
