2003 Eaglehawk Chardonnay

Warm weather leading up to the 2003 vintage produced beautifully ripe fruit. 100% Chardonnay fruit was sourced from a range of vineyard sites in the premium wine growing regions of South Eastern Australia

Tasting Note: Mid straw in colour with a vibrant youthful hue. The bouquet is typical of Australian chardonnay with tropical melon and peach characters and subtle oak integration. The palate is medium weight with rich fruit flavours and a backbone of supporting French oak. The finish is crisp, dry and refreshing.
Drinking very well now and can be cellared for up to three years (2004-2007)
