2003 De Bortoli Montage Cabernet Merlot

A well made quaffer! Brick red colour with brick red hue. Medium body. Aroma of blackcurrant and liquorice with a hint of tea leaf as an endnote. The palate reveals flavours of blackcurrant, vanilla and spice, followed by a touch of liquorice allsorts. Fine grained tannins. Spicy black pepper, plum aftertaste.
