2003 De Bortoli Gulf Station Riesling

VITTORIO DE BORTOLI arrived in Australia in 1924 with 10 Shillings and all his possessions in a tote bag. Today, De Bortoli has a turnover of $120 million and is one of Australia’s largest family owned companies. This is an outstanding example of Riesling. Bright straw colour with green hue. Perfumed nose of orange blossom, lime, musk and citrus. The palate has excellent weight, very pronounced flavours of lime and orange rind. Mouthfilling. Crisp acid finish. Very long lime aftertaste.
