2003 De Bortoli Gulf Station Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has undergone 12 months maturation in French oak hogsheads and barriques. Bright, brick red colour with brick red hue, showing early development. The nose reflects the colour – again showing early maturity. Aroma of stewed fruit, cedar and leather. The palate flavours are mature, supported by dry tannins. Aftertaste of stewed fruit with a hint of liquorice.
