Bright golden colour with gold hue.  Aroma of honey and yeast lees followed by a hint of toast.  The palate is quite dry, relying on the secondary flavour profile.  Flavours of hazelnut, lees, biscuit and honeycomb appear.  Clean finish.  Honeycomb and almond aftertaste.

First tasted, October 2005:
Bright gold colour showing early development character. Aroma of yeast lees and hazelnut, followed by a hint of butterscotch. Flavours of fig, yeast lees and cashew followed by a hint of citrus on the back palate. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of yeast lees and cashew.
