2003 Coldstream Hills Chardonnay

An elegant, barrel fermented Chardonnay which has been fermented and matured in Allier and Vosges French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour. The nose is refined with aroma of yeast lees, honey, toast, biscuit and cashew. The palate has a creamy texture with flavours of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit evident over a subtle spicy oak background. Clean acid finish with aftertaste of melon, spice, nut and citrus.
