2003 Cobaw Ridge Pinot Noir

A well made Pinot, made from low cropping vines incorporating a combination of old and new clones. Bright crimson colour with cherry red mauve hue. Medium body. The nose reveals a smoky toasted oak top note, followed by cherry and strawberry. The palate has excellent mouthfeel, enhanced by velvet smooth tannins. Moderate power wave. Flavours of cherry, spice and strawberry emerge over a plum, spice background. Aftertaste of spice, cherry and strawberry.
