Translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. Perfumed nose of strawberry jam, violet and spice. The palate has an impressive power wave in spite of it being relatively light. Flavours of violet infusions, strawberry and spiced cherries are evident, showing very good varietal character. There is a faint hint of stalk in the background. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste.
