2003 Brown Brothers Limited Release Heathcote Shiraz

A very well made Heathcote Shiraz, from Brown Brothers Patricia Vineyard, located north of Colibinnabin in the Heathcote GIC. Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue, showing a strong classic Heathcote sniff. Aroma of ripe blackberry spice, vanilla, confectionary and liquorice. The palate is spicy with black pepper overlaid with vanilla, liquorice and blackberry. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins. Very spicy vanilla, liquorice aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years (2009-2010)
