2003 Boundary Rider Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

A generous Victorian red, made by PETER FLEWELLYN at Pettavel in Geelong. Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. Aroma of ripe plum, followed by notes of liquorice and chocolate. The palate has very good weight and is held together by fine grained tannins. Flavours of ripe plum, spice and stewed fruit are followed by back palate flavours of chocolate, spice and black pepper. Long aftertaste of spice, ripe plum and stewed fruit. A very good everyday red.
