2003 Beckingham wines Reserve Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with very dark brick red hue. The nose displays leathery top notes intermixed with some ripe black plum followed by tarry earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate still has plenty of fruit – ripe blackberry and a touch of liquorice are overlaid by some earthy leather like characters with a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of blackberry, chocolate bullets and spicy leather.
