2003 Bannockburn Shiraz

An old fashioned Rhone inspired Shiraz. Medium body with crimson colour and crimson hue. Perfumed nose of spice, cedar and truffle. The palate is finely structured, more French than typical Australian. Flavours of earth are evident followed by nuances of cedar, old leather and plum. Moderate palate length. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of earth, old leather and spice.
