2003 Arakoon Sellicks Beach Shiraz

This is one of the biggest Sellicks Beach reds to date. Produced from 100% Shiraz, the grapes were all delivered in super ripe condition, being harvested over a very short 10 day period. The speed of the vintage seems to have been a result of the warm autumn finish. Totally opaque black crimson colour. Aroma of ripe plum, spice, vanilla and liquorice allsorts. The palate reveals flavours of ripe plum, spice, blackberry, coffee and dark chocolate. Fine, dry tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, mocha, vanilla and plum.
