2002 Yalumba Y Series Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla, spice, confectionary, ripe plum and just a touch of violets as an end note. The palate flavours are generous, reflective of a top year in South Australia. Flavours of ripe plum, spice, blackberry and vanillin oak emerge. Fine grained tannins followed by a very long aftertaste of vanilla and liquorice allsorts.
