2002 Yabby Lake Vineyards Pinot Noir

Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, AUSTRALIA
$44. 99
Bottle
$539.88 Dozen
Closure: Cork

This wine comes with outstanding credentials. The source of finance is from Village Road show tycoon, Robert Kirby, and the winemaking is by the highly talented pinot noir guru Larry McKenna. The corks that came out of the bottle were branded Eatons Cutting Vineyards.

Outstanding colour for Pinot, with very deep crimson purple hue. This nose is perfumed with lifted notes of violets, spice and just a touch of game, followed by a hint of stalk and black cherry. The palate has very good weight, again the stalky flavour component is to the front followed by earth, spice and black cherry. Moderate power wave followed by soft tannins and a long aftertaste of black cherry, spice and stalk.
