Tasting:The 2002 Wolf Blass Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a classic blend of these two popular varieties. The Sauvignon Blanc provides vibrant tropical flavours, in particular peach, passionfruit and melon, while the Semillon contributes classic citrus and cut grass flavours. This wine is fresh, fruity and clean, with subtle nuances of spice. It has a long lingering finish with citrus and varietal fruit flavours throughout.

Cellaring: Enjoy now or up to 2 years

Viticulture:: The 2002 vintage saw a cool dry summer, which allowed the fruit to ripen slowly and evenly. Both the Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from premium vineyards within South Australia. Careful canopy management, with summer light pruning, ensured the fruit gained even exposure. The grapes were harvested at night to preserve the fresh fruit flavours and maintain natural acid levels.
