2002 Whistler Wines The Reserve Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose exhibits an aromatic profile of dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some emerging leather and spice notes. Full bodied the palate delivers luscious dark plum and blackberry flavours followed by some dark chocolate, liquorice, subtle leather and vanillin oak. Supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with long ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum, vanillin oak and subtle leather aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
