2002 Western Range Wines Julimar Carnelian Shiraz

A stylish Shiraz, which has been matured in 50% French oak barrels. Medium body, crimson mauve purple colour. The nose is refined, with aroma of plum, blackberry, spice and just a hint of cedar. The palate displays flavours of white pepper, blackberry and plum followed by liquorice and a very spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, perfectly balanced, followed by a very long aftertaste of white pepper, blackberry, plum and spice.
