Opaque black dark crimson colour with black dark crimson hue. The colour is holding up. Perfumed nose with black cherry top note followed by spice, liquorice and cedar. The palate has impressive classic, big Durif palate weight and mouthfeel. Flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate, dark cherry and black pepper. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance. Aftertaste of subtle old leather and spice.
