The wheels seem to have fallen off this wine, which has been matured for 12 months in French and American oak. Bright straw colour showing a strong spice, oak and cinnamon character, followed by notes of strong mixed spices, cinnamon, oak over ripe peaches and butterscotch. The palate flavours are quite hard with a very strong cinnamon spice flavour persisting. Bitter back palate.
