2002 Tyrrell's Vat 47 Chardonnay

Green, straw colour with pale straw hue. Lifted nose of yeast lees, cashews, toasted oak, spice, melon and fig. The palate has good weight, with a touch of citrus emerging over a spicy oak background. The wine has impressive length, with back palate flavours of melon and fig emerging. Clean acid finish. Very long spicy oak, melon and fig aftertaste.
